Blue Tote Venting

I recently purchased a 32 gallon Barker tote (4 wheel) and was wondering how people vent air from it while dumping the tanks into it.

RE: Opinion on 5th wheel trailers

I was talking about a BIG COUNTRY not Big Horn. Big Horn more pricey even over the Big Country.
DUH! My mistake. Sorry. I was hearing and thinking Big Country, but typing Bighorn. The model I was salivating over was a Big Country, too. What would you do if you "heard and thought" LANDMARK instead...P your pants? :E

RE: What is this car/truck part?

Looks more like a "thingamabob" to me. Don't throw it away. Sooner or later the real truth will come out and you will wish you still had it. Don't ask how I know this!

RE: Stolen Montana

Sorry for your loss. I personally don't think I would let a theft keep me from purchasing the same brand if I was otherwise satisfied.

RE: Others process during their purchase of RV

Ours was upgraded/prepped and hitch installed in truck solely on a handshake. They held up their end and I mine. Nothing signed until I was happy. Great transaction.

RE: weight limits for entry steps and furniture

I guess it depends on you if you want to let her in or not, but I would not fear 400 pounds will be too much. Just think of it as two, 200 pound men.
Have you ever seen two 200 lb men using the same john at the same time or showering in the same shower at the same time?:R I sure haven't and don't want to! :E

RE: comments on a new fiver. Montana 3465

We bought our signature Montana in Oct 2007 and couldn't be happier. Only 3 minor issues and they were taken care of promptly and to our satisfaction. Feel free to PM me if specific questions.

RE: I must be nuts

Since you are now the proud owner of a Montana, go over to the Montana Owners Club web site and sign up. Lots of good info and help there with your Montana.I tried to get information there on 7/2/08 and all I got was ignored. It was my observation that if you weren't one of the "select few" you are an outsider. Still love the Montana though!

RE: I must be nuts

It's probably too late but I always recommend that prospective buyers go to www.rvknowhow.com and read the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV.Dick B must think you selected the wrong unit. Each to his own. We love our Montana. Happy travels!

RE: Water Heater Went Out - Permanently

The water heater DOES leak.....has soaked through the flooring but not in huge amounts. The present unit is ten years old, time to get a new one.
I decided on the 12 gal Whirlpool elec residential model. I do not travel in my RV, just live in it (move it occasionally but plan to stay here for a long time). I got it online and when I plugged Roseburg, OR (closest Lowes) in, the price went down from $238 to $229, and shipping by UPS is on a special today at $4.99. So total is $233.99. This sure beats the $1000 I was facing to replace what I have now.Who quoted $1,000? Tried to rip you off! :E

RE: Queen Bed Sizes

We have a bedroom slide with a short king. Plan to change to short queen as we are used to queen already and would rather have the floor space.
